Register for suicide prevention training by Monday
The Hidalgo County Health Consortium is hosting a Suicide Prevention Training on Tuesday, Dec. 1, in Lordsburg, N.M. The training will be held from 1-5 p.m. This training is entitled: Suicide 101, and has not been offered in this end of the state in over four years!
The speakers are Michelle Linn-Gust, Ph.D., president of American Suicidology, and JoAnn Sartorius, L.I.S.W., a 30-year veteran working with high-risk adolescents. This training will be an excellent opportunity for Hidalgo County and the surrounding areas. Counseling and Social Work CEUs will be available upon request.
