Willcox Police

Sat., Dec. 13

12:01 a.m. - Police made a traffic stop at E. Patte Rd. and Railroad. The driver, a 36-year-old female of Willcox, was arrested and booked into jail on charges of driving on a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia. The passenger, a 24-year-old female of Willcox, was arrested, cited and released on on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

2:10 p.m. - Police arrested, cited and released an 18-year-old male, a 21-year-old female and a 17-year-old male on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.


3:03 p.m. - Police responded to the 800 block of N. Flagstaff in reference to a domestic violence dispute. A 50-year-old male, a 43-year-old female and an 18-year-old male, all of Willcox, were arrested and booked into jail on charges of assault, criminal damage, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.

5:55 p.m. - Police and Willcox Fire Department responded to the alleyway at the 800 block of N. Douglas for a trash fire. The fire was extinguished.

Sun., Dec. 14

1:49 p.m. - Police responded to a gas station for a report of a shoplifter. A 17-year-old male was arrested on charges of shoplifting and released to his parents.

Mon., Dec. 15

2:43 p.m. - Police responded to the 500 block of N. Douglas for a report of a burglary. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

3:55 p.m. - Police responded to a business on the 100 block of S. Arizona Ave. for a report of a fight in progress. A 20-year-old female of Willcox was arrested and booked into jail on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing.

6:21 p.m. - Police responded to the 100 block of W. Maley for a report of a vehicle that had ran into a building. There were no injuries, the building sustained minor damage and the vehicle had severe damage. A report was taken.

Tues., Dec. 16

1:09 a.m. - Police and Willcox Fire Department responded to MP 336, I-10 westbound for a vehicle fire. The brakes on the vehicle were on fire. The fire was extinguished.

9:03 p.m. - Police made a traffic stop at Wood and Haskell. The driver, a 21-year-old male of Nogales, was arrested, cited and released on charges of driving on a suspended license.

Wed., Dec. 17

1:36 p.m. - Police responded to the 100 block of E. Maley for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was taken.

6:16 p.m. - Police responded to the 200 block of S. Bowie for a report of criminal damage done to the windows. A report was taken.

10:56 p.m. - Police and Willcox Fire Department responded to the alleyway of the 100 block of W. Maley for a vehicle fire. The fire was extinguished.

Thurs., Dec. 18

7:18 p.m. - Police responded to a grocery store for a report of a shoplifter. The subject had fled the store prior to the officer's arrival. Follow up found the subjects at the 2100 block of Hobbs Rd. A 14-year-old female and a 16-year-old male were arrested, taken into custody and released to their parents with juvenile referrals done.

Fri., Dec. 19

12:36 p.m. - Police took a report of a theft of a purse from a shopping cart in the parking lot of a store. The purse was located and returned to the owner with all the contents intact.

7:24 p.m. - Police made a traffic stop at the 800 block of N. Haskell. The driver, an 18-year-old male of Willcox, was arrested, cited and released for driving on a revoked license.. U.S. Boder atrol

Mon., Dec. 29

8:40 a.m. - A Bowie man reported a burglary.

9:57 a.m. - A Bowie woman requested medication for her 40-year-old niece.

10:28 a.m. - Cochise County Library reported a burglary.

11:51 a.m. - A Willcox man reported a traffic hazard. The caller advised of cattle in the road.

Tues., Dec. 30

11:52 a.m. - An unknown caller reported a theft of property. The caller advised that his tools were missing.

1:13 p.m. - A Willcox man requested contact with a deputy in reference to his ex-wife, who will not allow him to pick-up his belongings.

2:35 p.m. - An unknown caller requested contact with a deputy in reference to a burglary at a community food pantry. The caller advised that computers and cash were stolen.

3:10 p.m. - A Bowie woman reported a suspicious person, who came to her door looking for his brother and wanted to use her phone. The caller advised that she left to shop and when she returned the person was hiding in the bushes.

5:40 p.m. - A Willcox man requested contact with a deputy in reference to a dog he shot. The caller advised that the dog had been eating his chickens.

7:30 p.m. - A Bowie woman requested contact with a deputy in reference to a subject on a bike who just tried to break into the church.

9:35 p.m. - A Cochise man reported loud booming sounds coming from the dry lake bed by the railroad tracks.

Wed., Dec. 31

6:37 a.m. - Received an alarm activation call from Central Alarm.

Thurs., Jan. 1

12:05 a.m. - An unknown caller reported shots fired. Received a second call from a a female subject, who reported that it sounded like automatic weapons.

1:25 a.m. - An unknown caller reported loud music coming from an apartment.

1:35 a.m. - A Willcox woman reported subjects knocking on her windows.

The following are sentencings in Cochise County Justice Court No. 4 in Willcox, as provided by the court system. The listings include disposition date (all 2008), charge and sentence. "Monetary" can be a fine or restitution, or both.

  • Christy M. Molinar, 19, Willcox, Sept. 3: shoplifting; monetary.

  • Ramon Gonzales, 38, Willcox, Sept. 3: theft; monetary.

  • Aaron J. Chacon, 28, Deming, N.M., Sept. 3: driving with license suspended for failure to appear/failure to pay; monetary.

  • Ramos Rafael Ulate, 42, El Paso, Texas, June 30: engaging in contracting without a license; monetary.

  • Barbara Walker, 38, of Willcox, June 4; driving with license suspended for failure to appear/failure to pay; monetary.

  • Mungarro Luis Oscar Moran, 21, of Mesa, May 30; driving with license suspended/revoked/canceled; monetary.

  • Jerry M. Rivera, 39, of Huachuca City, April 16; driving with license suspended/ revoked/canceled; monetary.

  • Christopher James Morin, 38, of Willcox, April 14; driving with license suspended/ revoked/canceled; monetary.

  • Alfonso Calderon Antillon, 44, of Phoenix, April 10; exceeding maximum interstate speed, lap and shoulder belt required, driving with license suspended for failure to appear/failure to pay; monetary.

  • Ramon A. Granados, 28, of Tucson, April 7; exceeding maximum interstate speed, driving with license suspended for failure to appear/failure to pay; monetary.

  • Dennis Paul Killmer, 49, of Willcox, March 31; driving with license suspended for failure to appear/failure to pay; monetary.

    Probation

    Randy Ellis, 44, absconded from probation on May 12, 2008. He has a history of theft and assault and should be considered dangerous.

    Ellis is a white male, 5"8 and about 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

    He was born in Arizona and is believed to be in the Willcox area. He has worked as a plumber.

    His offense was domestic violence assault. Please do not attempt to approach him. If you see him, please call your nearest police department.
